An imposing Victorian Gin Palace, Princess Victoria has been lovingly restored to her former glory by new owners Matt Wilkin and James McLean.
Matt, originally from Adelaide, Australia, is Sommelier and Front of House. Previously Executive Sommelier at the 2 Michelin starred Capital Restaurant, Matt has won numerous awards including UK Sommelier Of The Year 2005
British born James, Head Chef, has gained wide experience in a variety of Michelin Starred restaurants, winning ‘Young Chef Of The Year 1997’ Formerly of The Greenhouse and The Goose in Oxfordshire, James has put aside his Michelin star roots to cook good British food…not without a hint of haute cuisine!
